Up on the hill.

Today we went to my favourite place ever ever ever in Paris. A little well-known hill called Montmartre. We ate lunch in a tiny hidden park behind the Sacre Coeur and then we had ice cream for dessert in Place de Tertre, the cutest square lined with cafe's and street artists. Today has been a beautiful beautiful day, except for the fact my feet are killing me slowly now...

Montmartre is simply the most beautiful place to get lost in. Once you finally lose the herds of tourists flocking at the foot of the Sacre Coeur and the tourist streets, it's a magically quiet, colourful, old area. Plus I am going absolutely LOOPY for blossom at the moment and Montmarte is full of gorgeous pink and white trees that I thoroughly enjoyed throwing all over myself in front of a group of elderly walkers. BLOSSOM IS JUST TOO INVITING.
